  3. Tips for enhancing the performance of the demo on your Mac:
  4. 1) Quit all other applications that you have running. If you're not sure if other applications are open, check the status menu in the upper right corner of the menu bar.

  6. 2) Turn off any screen saver that may be loaded.

  8. 3) Turn off all extensions not essential to running your CDs and restart your computer. You can do this by going in to the Extension Manager [in your Control Panels] and unchecking all unnecessary extensions. Depending on your computer, the extensions that should be left on might include:
  9. Ñ    Apple CD ROM
  10. Ñ    Foreign File Access
  11. Ñ    ISO 9660
  12. Ñ    Any third party CD ROM extensions

  14. You may want to save this new set of Extensions; it comes in handy when running any software with large memory requirements.

  17. Ñ Color Macintosh (256 colors required)
  18. Ñ 4MB RAM (8 MB RAM recommended)
  19. Ñ CD-ROM drive (double-speed recommended)
